Ichi Hibachi - Punta Gorda

Food was at least 4-stars. The cashier (I assume the owner) is a first class bit h!!! She rudely takes our order as fast as possible. It’s called money hungry. Won’t be going back anytime soon.

Good: Sushi roll goodBad: everything else. Poorly run. Counter lady took our order and there are table markers you get so they know who gets what. Well she didnt communicate this to us, we asked her is this ours. Then the kid who brings the food, cant read, speak or understand english and doesnt even read the ticket so he goes to every table and asks you if this dish is yours. after he brought our food, he brought more dishes out to us when others had no food yet. Poor training? Then he was yelled at by the man behind the counter. He tried his best. noodle stir fry was a very sparse portion. Men's bathroom stunk of stale urine, it was disgusting. I don't get the good reviews, def not a 4.7. Wont return and wish i never went there.

My newest favorite place in PG! Don't make the mistake I made by waiting years to go there. Just stop by dine in or carry out.

Food was wonderful as always we had steak and shrimp entree, and chicken and shrimp entree. Restaurant was extremely busy tonight with both inhouse and takeout orders. All done in a timely fashion. Absolutely our favorite restaurant in Punta Gorda!!

Best hibachi in SWFL. The food is fresh, delicious, and affordable. The staff are timely and friendly. Anytime we are out of town and try a new/different hibachi we are disappointed because Ichi Hibachi has set the gold standard for us and nothing else compares! Well done to the owners and staff for this gem in Punta Gorda.
