Las Goteras - Puntallana

Ohhh this was unexpected, bring an empty stomach. The house salad is fruit aswell as salad, still not sure if you add the oil and vinegar??? We did Mixed grill is enough to fill 2 people don't order extra unless you are wanting to walk after Lovely lovely place in the middle of nowhere.

We had finished a hike and wanted a beer and maybe some lunch. I stood at the bar with 5 euros in my hand while the barman finished his conversation and he completely ignored me for several minutes even after he'd finished talking. We simply left.

Looking for something a little different than a lunch time sandwich, we chose the Restaurant Las Goteras which is at the La Laguna recreation park, just above Barlovento in the north east of La Palma. My partner and I chose a starter (unusual for us! of fried cheese with cranberry sauce which was absolutely lovely. For the main course we had the grilled fish with chips and a little salad which was just perfect in quality, quantity, price and service. The restaurant is set in lovely grounds with a large pond opposite with ducks and surrounded by woodland. It's the ideal place to take children for a run around as it's a big area, has a very good playground and is away from traffic. Just to mention that it can be a little chilly on winter days, so you will almost certainly want a light fleece don't tip up in shorts and T shirt in winter.

Excelente carne a la parrilla, altamente recomendada.

Is eaten very well, attention is normal, pleasant and efficient. a place to come back without a doubt. The atmosphere is beautiful. some very good chicharrones, a great wheat soup, the baker baked without words. Anyway, a homemade, cared, simple, very pretty kitchen.
