Antigua Hacienda - Puntarenas

This is a beautiful local restaurant cooked with good home Costa Rican food. They are so friendly and let us feel like we are part of the family! Pescado was amazing, we will visit again!

We stopped at this point by embossing. From the first minute you can say it is a special place. The son and mother who lead the place are simply charming and proud of their culture and their cousins. The food was delicious on homemade recipes. Very fair prices!

Large owner/staff. Good food and great menu. On a fork that leads either Jaco and South or Puntarenas and North.

Wonderful cooperative of women with great food! Fresh juices were delicious. Their homemade tortillas were especially delicious and were made of a more stoneground masa. Got the Casado with fish and others got chicken. All were great! Nice stop on the way to San Jose.

Great food, friendly people, definitely recommend for visitors, price isn't bad at all for the portion size. I suggest trying their rice pudding, not too sweet, was just right for my taste.
