Banana Beach - Puntarenas

Very good food, super cool... one of the best in the area, not cheap and small portions. For example, if you order an appetizer like the Calamari, you will probably just like 6 of them... except that it is pretty cool to stay and watch the surfers and the sunset and the dogs swim in the sea. One of the few spots with good music and seating. It's a vibe.

A beautiful place to stop and drink or two. The cocktails are creative and delicious! The staff is quick and friendly. The place has a good atmosphere and is a mixture of young tourists and families. My only problem is that Wi-Fi is free for only one hour if you are not a hotel guest, what is something stingy and the only place I met in Costa Rica. Nevertheless, you are right on the beach so that the view should be sufficiently entertaining.

What a shock to go from the street and parking and find this jewel! There was entertainment at night that we were there more concentrated on the big group of young people, but I definitely enjoyed it, and watch the young people enjoy it too! Being on a surfing beach and having access to the best entertainments of all- a wonderful sunset would have made this place what I would say to my friends anyway.

Amazing and lively place for lunch on the beach! Food is fantastic! Ale Bier was also fantastic! We loved Caprese Salat, who was super amazing and creative! All raw fish dishes were also perfect, massively recommended

Cool beach bar/restaurant. They have live music and all day happy hour which is nice. The drinks are better than the food. Good service. Can get a bit crowded especially during the sunset.
