El Gran Escape Bar And Restaurant

We have the two for a strawberry margaritas and Tequila sunrise. Delicious drinks and good prices. We have the Hot Dog Trio. We liked two of the three, but an experience was still recommended. The guacamole was cool and delicious.

An open restaurant that lets the wind flow and gives this good breeze when it is hot. It's on the main road, but it wasn't too much distracted by the bypass... they also enjoyed a dedicated bar enjoyed my Ensalade de la escape, which was quite the part. Pets are allowed here!

I came here to eat next door after an ATV tour, so I can only talk to what was served and not with the prices or the usual menu. I had fried fish with rice and beans and vegetables. Everything tasted fresh and the sides were all very well seasoned, some of the most delicious food I had eaten in Costa Rica. The main (fish) was good, but not so well seasoned, but it was balanced with the sides. The staff was friendly and attentive. In any case, it is worth checking whether you are in the area.

Definitely one of the better restaurants I've tasted in Costa Rica. It's very Americanized so it's not cheap but the flavour is pretty decent. The fruit drinks are freshly squeezed and very thirst-quenching.

Delicious ceviche (mahi mahi) and grilled tuna salad with mushrooms and avocado And 2 for 1 sangrias! Soooooo good!
