On a one-day journey... to and from San Jose to Colorado of Abangares, I went with my older brother to buy three sacks of Sal Marina to the Salinas that are located in that nice village. On the way to Colorado de Abangares we entered the road that leads to Punta Morales and then we deviated to Costa de Pájaros with the intention of buying Corvina fresh, Camarón Jumbo and some scrap in this Pescadería. I was surprised with the prices and quality of the product...to give an idea 18 tails for a kilo of Jumbo shrimp in other fishery I bought kilos of this shrimp with 25 to 30 tails... the newly arrived corvina of the Sea. I also bought juvenile shrimp that in other places have sold me like Jumbo. In short I recommend this fishery, plus the entire journey through this area is a nice walk. Also take into consideration that from this port you can travel in boat to the Island of Chira and also subject to schedule is offered cabotage service in the area of the Gulf ... as who says there passes the Peripheral of the Gulf of Nicoya. Lunch was made at a restaurant in Colorado in Abangares... very reasonable price and good season in the food... couldn't miss the brew to appease the thirst! !
