Frank's Star Lunch - Punxsutawney

This charming small restaurant is like a trip down memory lane to the good old days!

Perfection. Great hotdog we ordered the hot dog meal with all the toppings and fries. Fries are fresh sliced, not frozen. Hotdogs are slit open with cheese melted in the center. Toppings included onions, relish, mustard, ketchup, and ground burger meat, which was the perfect combo. Loved watching the grill chef cook the dogs and burgers. Great authentic atmosphere. I'm from St. Louis and Frank's Star Lunch reminded me a lot of the Italian family restaurants there in The Hill neighborhood. Frank's family is showcased in a photo vignette on the restaurant wall, dating back to 1920s. Thank you!

This is the best place to eat in Punxsy. By far. They make leaps and bounds for the customer. I wish I could give a 6/5

I can NOT believe how disrespectful the one staff member was when stopped in for lunch today. This place even came highly recommended to us by locals. I can say that if we are ever back in town again we will chose another location to eat. The sad part was even when another staff member came to apologize to us the other staff member was yelling at him not to apologize for her. When left the man that apologize to us even came out in the parking lot to keep saying sorry. He said this is a problem and that lady has done this numerous time to other patrons. So my question is why would you put your Business in jeopardy with a staff member that acts like that? Very sad. I hope the owners make the decision to terminate this hostile employee !!!!!

This is the best hotdog I have ever tried! The staff is incredibly friendly. I would give it 6 stars if I could. Greetings from Spandau.
