St. Peters Finger, Lytchett Minster

I was extremely dissatisfied with the service we received today. The food took a long time to arrive, and we were not informed of any wait time beforehand. When I asked a woman about the delay, she ignored me. I then asked someone else who went to check, but when they returned, they said it was for the two ploughman's platters we had ordered. We were very disappointed with the service and have decided not to return to this restaurant again.

One of the best Hall Woodhouse chain. Roast beef and lamb cooked well and vegetables properly cooked. Sunday lunch so very busy but staff coping well.

A late change to numbers plus a pram was managed on arrival allocated table access restricted not an issue table change within minutes of arrival great service all round , food hot and no long wait between courses , very good

I have dined at this restaurant on at least 6 previous occasions, so I booked a table with high expectations for a good meal. I was meeting a future in-law for the first time, so it was disappointing that two of the meals had beef that was so tough and rubbery that it was impossible to cut or chew. I felt embarrassed for my guests and the experience definitely put a damper on the day. Unfortunately, I have to give this restaurant a thumbs down.

I have not been to peters finger for a long time, but today 25th feb we went for dinner and we were quite surprised, lot of improvements and is nicely decorated the food we had was very good cooked well and tasted good was slso served quite quickly, we used our dinning card which i understand wiill not be accepted in the near future which is a pity, cost at this pub is quite good, all in all nice food served quickly and with a smile, not every where can you get this
