The Great Wall - Puslinch

I was in the neighborhood and decided to order takeout dinner for four. The service was super fast, my order was ready and waiting for me within minutes of arriving. I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of options available for dinner. Unlike many places that mostly offer chicken dishes, this restaurant had lots of meat and fresh vegetables, not just the standard carrots and onions. The prices were reasonable for the quality of the food. I will definitely be returning!

We’ve been customers for years but the past times left us feeling disappointed and quite frankly a bit ripped off. The wonton soup is lacking flavour the egg rolls getting smaller even the breaded shrimp is getting small with way more breading. The chicken...balls have always been the best with huge pieces of chicken but even this is not consistent. Sad because we really like the people. Just no desire to go back but perhaps one day. It’s so expensive we are able to have a large fresh sushi dinner for the same price. Looking for an alternative.

This is a great place for fine Chinese food. We had combo plates and as before they did not disappoint. Everything was hot and flavourful. We had stopped hoping to dine in but they had take out only. They had a small table and on their deck and said we could sit there. Was a great meal with beautiful weather. Chicken Chow Mein and Almond Soo Guy were our lunch specials.

I am sometimes hesitant to try out small Chinese restaurants. However, after hearing rave reviews from friends and learning that some traveled nearly an hour to get their food, I decided to give it a chance. On our way back from Hamilton one evening, we stopped for dinner and were pleasantly surprised by the delicious and fresh food, as well as the inviting atmosphere.

Was there before but had to try it again with other items just to make sure it was as good as before. My wife had pork chow mein and I had a combo plate. Everything was crisp, hot and tasty.
