The food isn't as good as it used to be; while the portions are large, the meat and rice are quite dry and lack the flavor they once had. Is this still family-owned, or is there a new owner? I really miss the old Teriyaki Town. I visited again and was disappointed. The meat had no flavor, and although they added more food, it felt like an attempt to cover up the lack of taste—I would rather not eat it at all. I’m going to take a long break from this place. I hope they can improve their recipes or cooking if that’s the problem.
I will never come back here. The food is decent, but the service is terrible. The woman taking orders was incredibly rude, and I ended up just turning around and leaving. I would give this place a 0 out of 10.
The food is great, but it's important to note that the teriyaki sauce can vary based on the cook's personal taste. Similar to BBQ sauce, there are many different ways to prepare it.
The food was good, but the service was extremely poor. We arrived at 10:55 when the door was open, but the staff made us leave and gestured to the "Open" sign as if we should have known they weren't ready to serve. When we returned and decided to dine in, the server was rude throughout the ordering process and then handed us our meals in to-go boxes. It was quite confusing.
The spicy teriyaki was absolutely delicious! The customer service was outstanding; the staff was very friendly and easy to talk to!
