The Iron Pot Bay Tassie Pinot Noir was also delicious. You have no main water so you...either buy your bottle of water for $2.50 or you are welcome to bring your own water. The place is very sweet with old photos and funny spell on posters. The staff is super friendly and the service is very fast. A really great experience.
After visiting the Pyengana Dairy next door, we stayed in this pub after we had heard great reviews about the service, and of course Priscilla Peppa, the beer drink pigs “special” brew with beer, water their dinner slops). The service WAS amazing keen to have a chat and tell us about the proximity must see. Our daughter loves to give the pigs a beer. Gold coins donation, although not required.
We enjoyed four delicious meals with friendly service at this restaurant. The food was not fancy, but it was home-cooked and exactly what we needed after being on the road for a week. The walls were decorated with lots of character.
"Fantastic place to visit with delicious food. We tried the fresh local scallops and enjoyed sitting by the warm open fireplace. The staff were lovely and we even saw the pigs drinking beer."
I stopped by for lunch and found the staff to be pleasant. Despite its old and outdated appearance, that's part of its charm. The meal was satisfactory, specifically a steak sandwich. The steak was cooked perfectly, medium/rare. It was served with a generous portion of delicious, fresh fries.
