Contribuisci feedbackThis bar/restaurant in Pyrmont is beautifully decorated and serves delicious Portuguese shared plate food as well as excellent main meals. They offer a great selection of affordable Portuguese wines. My well-traveled friends and I have visited many times and we all enjoy the food and atmosphere. The owner, Tino, is a fascinating guy with a wealth of knowledge and passion for all things Portugal. I highly recommend giving this place a try - you won't be disappointed!
Overall, we were disappointed by the poor communication from the voucher provider and the unhelpful attitude of the owner. In this day and age, expecting a printed voucher seems unnecessary and the owner's refusal to accommodate us was off-putting. We had high hopes for a pleasant evening but the owner's dismissive behavior soured the experience. Ultimately, this incident has deterred us from returning to what could have been a favorite dining spot.

Generally a horrible place in all respects. Magellan is owner run but the owner is incredibly impatient and rude - this creates an uncomfortable and tense enviroment in the whole restaurant. The food is a refelction of the owners attitude - bland and effortless. Seriously a poor restaurant and will never be back.
Used a voucher for a tapas meal. Tapas included calamari, octopus, garlic bread, mushrooms and chorizo sausage. Meal concluded with mango gelato. Food was pleasant. Location was enjoyable. Toilets were located on the first floor. Expectations were tempered by the unpleasant attitude of the Manager when making the initial booking.
