The Century - Pyrmont

Waited 20 mins before we had to flag down staff to get a drink, slap happy service spilling my $60 bottle of wine without a care, no apology. Nobody working there seemed to care about providing any service whatsoever. Spent a fortune, dishes tasted average. Large fried rice cost $63. When we went to pay the staff member asked what no tip for the staff? We gave $50 (work function 10 people) and that was too much as far as I was concerned. Happy to tip when service is good, felt they didn 't deserve a tip.

My fiance is a celiac. Of the hundreds of items on the menu, they told him the only thing he could eat was steamed broccoli. I think it's more likely a case they don't know. No effort made to improve his experience. Disappointing considering it's 2022.

I don't get all the bad reviews . Place was packed with a line waiting to get in . Ate here last night with friends . We had a reservation and were seated promptly at a nice large table at 6.00 pm . Service was good . Ordered the Snow Crab which was so expensive but apparently that is normal .It was recommended from a friend . $350 plus just for the crab . It was nice though as was every thing else we ate and we did indulge . Our whole meal took around 2 hours to get through all the courses and when we left the place was still full with a line out the door . What ever they are doing people love it and so did we . We will be back

The food was fresh and tasty. Plenty to choose from including fresh seafood in tanks. Staff friendly and efficient. Amazing flavours and perfectly presented.

Really not a good experience there. I would suggest that this eatery is made for large groups. It wasn’t an enjoyable experience
