Four pizzas for only $15. We chose the Tandoori Chicken and... it was really the best pizza we had in a long time. Large base, fresh coriander, evenly distributed, generous size, made with love. We also have the cheerful garlic pizza that was delicious again. as enough for two people. Bar was quiet. Huge TV to see the tennis. Play great voices. Good mood.
We are regularly at Quakers Inn and always enjoy their carvings that are huge, juicy and tasty. But at any time, we were so brave to explore other menu options that we have disappointed. The pub is very simple and has not... a lot of character, but the beer is ice cold and the staff is absolutely amazing. Stay at the Schinitzel and you will enjoy your visit.
The worst risotto I've ever tried to eat... it was as if they overcooked it, then it watered off.... it was full of liquid. The Quakers Burger Hähnchen Parma were good....so maybe stay at pub basics
We will not be returning to this restaurant since it has changed ownership. We used to enjoy the Battered fish, Chips Salad, where we could substitute vegetables for the chips at no extra cost. This is no longer the case.
I visited this pub a few years ago and it has since grown and changed. The exterior may be a bland concrete building, but the interior is clean and modern. Surprisingly, there were very few customers on a Saturday morning when I was there before the bistro opened at noon. One thing that bothered me was when I walked up to the bar, a lady was washing a large saucepan and didn't acknowledge my presence. However, the young man who eventually served me after tending to the gamblers was friendly and helpful.
