I ignore the bad reviews here. total nonsense. the food was fantastic. I had a fish dish cha ca hanoi and my missus had a bungalow cha. the food was so delicious and the staff was very friendly
Beautiful atmosphere and decorations, eating were delicious and have a lot of option (real much) , some food will prepare on their table that is beautiful experience. price was a bit high. service well, you could speak something English. very close to the hotel where we live and easily reach to foot when they stay in the old city.
Absolutely perfect culinary experience! it was a bit hard to get the attention of the waiter first, but after we were visited, the drinks immediately broke out and the first dish was served within 15 minutes our order. the food was fantastic, especially the hackbraten grilled in split bambusskewers from the special menu. the “best of the menu” sweet/sour broth with fish, dill and chunk was a bit of a bland compared to the rest of the lined, but still worth a taste!
We came here by accident—we were looking to get out of the rain and have a late dinner around 10pm. This place was open, so we decided to give it a go. We ordered the veg fried rice, garden salad and garlic sautéed veg. Everything was flavourful and delicious. The staff were wonderful, too. We didn’t catch the woman’s name who was working, but she was lovely. Yes, this place is more expensive than a red stool, but that’s kind of the point: you’re paying for the cozy atmosphere in addition to the tasty food.
