Riverbank of Queanbeyan

My Husband and I were lucky enough to have held our intimate wedding at the Riverbank of Queanbeyan Cafe. The lovely and jolly couple who own and run the Cafe were so helpful in making our dreams a reality, and they were very accommodating with the menu and pricing to suit our needs and budget.The view was gorgeous and every morsel of food was divine and was perfectly paired with the wine they provided!I can honestly say, that the service they provided was superb, and I am anxiously anticipating our next experience with them.

We have been to the Riverbank for a lunch a number of times and love the location by the river. The deck is beautiful on a warm, sunny day. Lovely cakes and coffees. A must visit cafe in Queanbeyan!

Took the family for breakfast this morning (4 adults and 2 children ( 4 and 1). What a delight this place was, with a great view of the river and all the birdlife (including 2 black swans). Although the weather was typical winter we were inside with good heating. The food and coffee was excellent and the young ladies that served us were friendly and helpful. There is a large area outside with table and chairs for those brave enough to enjoy the cold, but ,I found out that during the summer months you need to book in advance to get any where near the place.

Best location in Queanbeyan. Coffee is great! Were going to have lunch but not enough choice for my way of eating. We'll be back for coffee and CAKE next time. Every one of the cakes look amazing!

Excellent service started on entry with a smile and making sure we were comfortable at our outside table on a cool day. The Director served us personally, his jovial nature and attentiveness to helping with our choice of cake and coffee/tea was a joy and came delivered with extras. Sticky date muffin with caramel sauce and mocha with carefully crafted layers of chocolate throughout, yum! Beautiful location by the river right on the entry into the CBD eastern bank. Very reasonably priced as well, $23 for 2 cakes and coffee/tea.
