Beyond the excellent food, the overall experience is of superb authenticity; the service (hirashaimase!), the decor, and of course, the items from the Akiko boutique.
I went to this restaurant a few times and every time the food was excellent. The place is small (it is better to reserve), but the food is fresh and savoury.
Had a wonderful experience with amazing sashimi rolls. The Seaweed Salad, Tobiko, Ahi, Hamachi, Boston roll were all excellent.
Clean neat and delicious would fairly describe this place!!! I went for the famous combo (Bento Box Just yummy It comes with a choice of soup or salad. I obviously had the pictured miso soup: And they serve you both a tea and an ice-cream at the end of your course meal! NOW something original about this place, is that they don't let you choose your ice cream flavor.. yes I know some of you now are giving me that face, thinking that it is a subtle way to get rid of their least popular flavor! I ordered a tiger eye maki portion, though the taste was fine, it was a tiny circle in the middle filled with fish (tiniest I've ever seen
