Au Petit Coin Breton Ltee - Québec

Lovely restaurant in a great location, giving a real flavor of old Quebec City. Great food. The crepes were light and flavorful. I ordered an eggs Benedict, which was very well done, with homemade Hollandaise and a fresh English muffin. Good value.

We walked to this restaurant from our hotel on our first day in Quebec. We were seated promptly and asked for our drink order right away. Our drinks arrived in less than two minutes. While we sipped on our drinks, we noticed waitresses refilling coffee cups at other tables but not ours. After about 20 minutes, we had to call a waitress over to take our order. When I pointed at the item I wanted on the menu, the waitress bluntly told me I needed to specify my choice. Although her tone was cold, her English was actually fine. The service improved as time went on and the crepes we ordered were excellent. We had crepes at another restaurant later on but found Au Petit Coin Breton's to be the best. We both enjoyed our meals and even the waitress seemed pleased when we finished. The toast that came with our breakfast was also impressive. We will definitely return for the crepes!

The food at this restaurant was quite disappointing, as it was very average and seemed like something anyone could make. To make matters worse, the waitress dropped our food on the table and then disappeared, spending a long time chatting with a coworker instead of attending to our table. By the time we finally got her attention, the crepes were cold. She had also promised to bring a refill of coffee but only came back at the very end of our meal. It was ironic that the service was slow, as when the staff were moving, they were moving quickly and creating a breeze; perhaps they were trying to avoid interacting with customers. Overall, we were not impressed and would not choose to dine at this restaurant again next time we're in Quebec.

We enjoyed this restaurant for their crepes. Just a heads up, the vegetarian options come with a buckwheat healthy crepe that I didn't personally care for. It wasn't as tasty as the regular crepes, so next time I'll ask for a substitution. Despite this, it was still a pleasant dinner experience. The service was friendly but quite slow, so make sure to go when you have plenty of time to spare.

Nice place. Nice service and food.Strongly reccomend it if you want a beer escape. I tried all the beers and a cider. I liked the dark beer.
