Finally there were two prices into tree menus. The first price is the lowest and was outside, only to attract clientes. When you come in, they offer the second menu, wich has other prices high of coirse). After this the waitress gave me with correct prices thr same of outside). But at the moment of payment, they gave me again one menu with other prices high too). Above all the waitress asked me for tip and started speak loudly that I needed paying at lest 10%. Akwardf situation.
While the restaurant may not have much in terms of decor, the service more than makes up for it. With only two other couples in the restaurant, the atmosphere was relaxed. The server was friendly and attentive, allowing us to enjoy our 6-course meal with a bottle of wine for only $70. The food was fantastic and I would highly recommend this place for a quiet and relaxing evening.
Special prix fixe offering of three course meal for two with a bottle of wine for $70. Food was tasty.
We had neglected to make New Years Eve reservations and it seemed like every restaurant was booked or had high-priced fixed meals for the evening. The exposed stone walls and well-priced meal drew us in, and they were able to accommodate us. What a pleasant surprise! The meal included a delicious bottle of malbec for half the price of the other restaurants. The service was friendly, we enjoyed watching people stroll down the street through the snow from our table, and everything was tasty. Don't overlook Le Lobby!
We remembered this restaurant from a previous visit to Quebec 5 years ago, and were now happy to find it again. They featured a 6-course (okay, well coffee is one of the courses), dinner for two with a bottle of wine for around $60. The food is very good, from the appetizers to the dessert. The warm bread was super, and the salmon tartare appetizer was wonderful. Flank steak with goat cheese entree was done perfectly. Our only complaint was that the scallops were a bit overdone, but still tasty. Though they seemed to be understaffed, the sole waitress managed the service calmly and well, but was no doubt relieved when reinforcements were brought in. The next time we're in Quebec we'll be sure to visit again.
