The concert was okay, but the place was just sloppy and disorganized.
This place is very consistent with the good food, excellent service, and relaxing ambiance. There’s a lot of luscious food, but I had the smoked duck breast and grilled cheese. Also, they have a great wine selection and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend.
I went to Quebec City for the first time this past weekend (July 14-16), and read up about this resto on a blog, that seemed trustworthy. I made a reservation for Saturday night for 8:45 pm. We showed up, and I was impressed by the décor and fabulous wine room. There were about 3 tables maximum, so it felt quiet (I thought that was strange). The service was friendly, and we had a fantastic table. The menu: was difficult to understand; even in French. I welcome experimental food and ambiance, but my friends were not too crazy about the marinated souris (that's marinated mouse)!!!It chose the mushroom ravioli - the description "it will feel like walking into a forest." cute, but highly disappointing, and it came cold. They did have the red bull I was very much coveting all over Quebec City! The theme of the night was "Fleurs de Nuit" apparently a vibrant show and music, we left at 11:30 pm and there was nobody in the restaurant - Maybe things picked up at midnight?!?!In the end, I felt bad because I dragged my friends there, and in the only thing they liked was the wine; so kudos to the wine room. But a hefty bill
This at a Glance Pub Like place offered a discovery meal which astounded. Beautifully laid out plates, creatively adorned and flavorful. Each course was very good to excellent but the overall quality of the meal for its price exceeded expectations. Don’t go too late as the place does a metamorphosis into a club. The waitress spoke good English.Sorry, I missed taking pics of the first course a small chocolate size piece of blood pudding I actually liked, with an apple puree, caramelized onions and beets. A cocktail and a small glass of wine was also included. Pretty sure the experience is different a la carte.
