The first time we went from Sushi Taxi, we thought it was a taxi company. But for the second time, we saw people eat and realize it's a restaurant. It's tiny. ..only three tables. ..but the sushi was great and Lucie, the waitress... (and an owner, I think, was lovely. On our first trip we had their Shogun plate. It had 9 different types, several with several pieces of each. The presentation was breathtaking and each type was more wonderful than the last. The plate came either with a spring roll or soup. We went for the spring roll. During our second visit (the next day!) we left the selection of Lucie and the Koch. The types were different, but also tasty and visually appealing (see photo). Besides sushi, they also have poke dishes that sound good, but we were there for sushi. For Quebec City it was not excessively expensive and I would recommend Sushi Taxi for all Sushi lovers. C'est merveilleux!
We ordered online and were told that it would take an hour to deliver (long, but okay) just 20 minutes later are called and said it would actually take 3h45 to get our order if we asked to cancel it to us that we didn't... our money back, just buy credit at their place another time so yes. We will no longer order there and also not if you do not want to deal with the same problem. Disappointed, her sushi is fine, but not 'safe keep my 80$, although you 't make our order in time ' good.
The Suhi was great! Although it is usually a take-home restaurant, we have our sushi in the restaurant... excellently small place. But we are very happy to try her sushi. The price is also reasonable.
We dined at a restaurant with a small seating area and ordered the 14-piece chef's choice for $24, along with an additional 5-piece maki (pika pika) for $10. The overall taste was decent, but not exceptional. The quality of fish in each piece was minimal and the flavors were plain and lacking excitement. It was evident that the chefs were not well-versed in traditional Japanese sushi preparation. Although we finished our meal, it was some of the worst sushi we have had recently and was not worth the price. We decided to leave this review because we only went based on positive reviews we had read, which we now realize were inaccurate. Those individuals must not have a true appreciation for high-quality, authentic sushi.
