I have shredded chicken tacos and tears and buzzing. mild salsa. if I get fast eating in the Mexican inspired category, I would choose this trip over the other national chains.
Our food came exactly an hour after the order to our table. we saw other tables that received their food that were ordered after us, and they were only 20 minutes there when our food came, it was only part of our order. (my man was hungry and took a few short bites of his taco before I made the picture) his enchilada was hard and the sauce above was dried with devoured sad salate on the side. the middle part of my Tostada shell was soft. after my man had waited for a few minutes, he went to ask the server if the rest of our food would soon be ready. we have the rest of our meal an entire hour and ten minutes after our order, without apology. it was a Saturday and the majority of people who were ordered after us were online orders that were first looked after. we wanted to be friendly and understanding about the situation and have not annoyed ourselves to one of the workers or caused a scene. (as an old man did when he came to pick up his online order and he had to sit and wait for five minutes) we waited patiently, over an hour, ate our dinner and went. we just wanted to know that this location seems to have a lot of online orders, so in person Dine-in orders can take twice as long as to get. we have enjoyed it for years to visit this place and have never been disappointed until today. our guess is, it must be difficult to stay completely personal after kovid hit farm hard.
Terrible experience, first order came in 10 minutes, gave me the wrong order plus a court I had never ordered. I wanted to drink another beer while waiting for my proper order to welcome me or pay me. after 8 minutes waiting cash only wanted to open my beer without paying for it. I had to explain, I only have one more and I have to pay. I'm still waiting for my order. another 15 minutes walk past and we say something about it, apparently a mix in the kitchen. he waited another 15 minutes to get proper food. make sure the original food was in 10 minutes. I'm sorry or sorry. looks like all the kids aren't more than 20 years old. in any case, they need a manager who knows what's going on. also two other commands were ground.
Call it a result of the long pandemic or what have you the inconsistency of this particular location leaves us anxiously waiting for Costa Vida to open up a Queen Creek location again. Don 't get me wrong the staff is very nice, but every time I go to pick up food, it 's never ready when it 's supposed to be and the employee retention late may be an issue. There always seems to be new people in there. It takes them quite a bit just to find my order. This is disconcerting, since I 'm using their app on my phone to place the order. When we first moved into this area and experienced Someburros for the first time, my wife and I were elated! We started ordering from there once a week and that was during the height of the pandemic in 2020/2021. Over the past six to nine months, there have been chronic issues with portion sizes, orders being filled incorrectly and missing items. Now, I don 't leave without checking the bag thoroughly and the majority of the time something is missing. It 's understandable that there 's labor shortages, food shortages, costs are rising, etc. but please don 't make us (your customers, continue to have chronic issues with service and food. After reading all of the customer reviews over the past many months, there 's a stark/consistent message. Someburros needs to get back to the way it use to be, or post something in your establishments that explains what 's going on and your action plan to fix it. That 's what loyal customers want not to have to respond via email to well intentioned management responses to these reviews.
Prices are going up and portions are getting less. $12 for taquitos that would have been better out of a frozen box and burritos that are very over priced for 80% tortilla and 20% meat (and that?s being generous). Someburros used to be sooo much better but after the last 5 attempts for redemption I won?t be going back.
