Overpriced. At $4 a piece, not worth it. I'd take donuts these cream puffs. $5 minimum for credit card, forcing you to buy another one if you don't have cash.Edit: +additional star to 3 stars for your reply.
This is the only Beard Papa's that allows any indoor dining at their location. Being inside the Skyview Center has its advantages. It enabled me to enjoy my original cream puff with ube filling on site.
Cream puffs are always such a guilty pleasure. Assortment of cream puffs and cream filling are great! Go early in the day to get the full plethora of flavors. Arriving later in the day may mean certain items like the tiny puffs to be sold out. Full sized morsels are priced at $4- 5 each depending on puff and cream combo. Vanilla is a bit plain but the matcha was finger lickin good. I have yet to try the ube, but will be ordering that next time I stop by!
Please note, this review is solely on the service and ethics of the Flushing location, not the food. I received coupons from shops at Skyview for the holiday season and saw that Papa Beard was participating in this promotion period. They had a coupon for $2 off a single item, and it finally gave me a reason to drop by to try their cream puffs. However, when I went to order and use the coupon, the cashier just pointed at the coupon they stuck on the side of the glass divider. Handwritten in pen states that there needs to be a minimum purchase of $10 in order to use the coupon. I did not see other shop in Skyview add any requirements to their coupons to force customers to spend more than what they intended to. If they had specified this in the original printed coupon and not just add it on for customers to see when they come to the store, then I would not have purposely commuted there. This may be a minor issue to some, but I believe that businesses should have principle and I don't agree with this.
