The Tavern - Queensbury

Large small pub restaurant opposite the tourist traps. The staff is friendly and attentive. Know one of the owners: John, really beautiful and up to Earth. Loved the selection of dishes, burgers, salads, tapas style options to share as well. All your bar favorites are served cold and well made. They even have a small room for parties or after work together. The outdoor terrace complete with TV, and shade is what the weatherman order on these cooler evenings to sit outside.

Went for a birthday party, the food was great and the waitress was impeccable, she really went out of her way to please!

Excellent service. We had about 25 pages in our party. A woman with a cook ran all the place! The service was slow, but considering that it wore so many hats, it was amazing!

Decent local decor built around the professional athletes who are all from the area! The prices are appropriate for the received portions and the menu has a good variety that anyone can find something they will enjoy. Entertainment was a bit loud and overwhelming, but overall it was a pleasant experience.

Very hard to see the sign but it’s a treasure worth hunting for! The staff and atmosphere are great! The food was excellent: we got six meals and everyone was very happy- and that’s hard to do. My cosmopolitan was excellent- just right. My only minor complaint was the prices on their new menu are more than the ones posted on their website- and some dishes had a significant change.
