Restaurante Bar Brisas del Atrato

It has a nice view and It looks very nice. I arrived quite early for lunch, so I order few drinks. When the time for lunch came, I order a dish that was not available, then I asked for more time. When I made up my mind I call for the waitress and I asked if she recommend my new pick, we were discussing that when the owner or manager came to the table and said she could answer my questions. I asked again if she recommended my new choice and she said no , then I said I needed more time, she answered that I had been in the restaurant for too long. Here I should say, that beside me, there were four more tables with few people and a big one with people from the army, few of them armed, all of them with the uniform and some ordered beer (wearing the uniform), anyway, the place was not crowded, but I felt this lady was kicking me out, so I just asked for the check and left. I think their menu has way too much cheese.

They have a lot of great food with local flavors. The prices are too high in my opinion. The portions are big and the staff is friendly.

The seafood casserole, the sancocho, the rice with shrimp and the entrances are delicious the place is very nice next to the river, I was twice and twice as amazing

I asked for a sea fish in coconut sauce and it was delicious, good attention and the dishes arrived timely and well presented, the view to the river undoubtedly changes the atmosphere and makes the restaurant very ameno, that day there was music plain (I don't know why) but they told me that there is usually live music of the region
