If they are looking for a great Creperie experience, this place is not a brain. besides absolutely nice, fast to use, they serve me the best crepps I ever tasted. they only use local products and bios. each of their crepes becomes. Don't disappoint you. my favorite remains the complete for salty and caramel, but salé for sweet. a murderer!
After we found the restaurant on a small track opposite the railway station, we had the warmest greetings on a cool february. we enjoyed a tasty lunch that was selected from the preset menu. the food is cooked to order, and we could see to the kitchens and observe some of the action. after the main courses we chose our second course, then I discovered that a third course was just an extra euro. it would have been a shame not! we enjoyed the apple wine so much that we hunted the supplier and later visited his farm shop on the afternoon. all in all, one of the best midday dates ever, and certainly a highlight of our holiday. merci!
So we missed our train due to a late flight in and were looking for somewhere to eat as we had a good bit of time till our next train and we were starving at that stage. Someone we spoke to mentioned this new little...creperie in an alley way, so we decided to try thst rather than the main creperie right opposite the station. i tell you what we weren't disappointed! i think this is probably the best galette au ble noir i have ever had. pastry was thin and crispy and an incredible taste. i personally had a complete(egg ham and cheese), but the menu showed some incredibly ecclectic selections. if i had to make one slight criticism of the galette, was that it could have used a tiny bit more filling but that's just nit picking. the desert pancakes were just as wonderful, cooked in plenty of butter and we enjoyed every mouthful, which truly highlighted the motto of the restaurant (une crepe sans beurre, c'est un breton qui meurt) this place is run by 2 wonderful women, one in the kitchen full of love for what she does, full of love for Brittany and all the produce she sources locally from all the organic farmers in the region. She was absolutely passionate and delightful. In the front of house is another lovely lady who looked after us so well and with a big smile on her face. If i'm ever in Quimper again, i know where i'll be going!!! Merci les filles, vous etes geniales!!!
Had a great savoury crepe, goats cheese and ham. Local produce is stressed here and the restaurant provides a list of local suppliers at the back of the menu. The friendly owner was on hand to provide helpful advice re the range of crepes and...beverages on offer. Highly recommended if a light(ish) and tasty meal is what you are after.
