Creperie du Roi d'ici - Quimper

After reading positive reviews we decided as a a family to try the crepes. We had a little wait to be served, but it was festival day in the town and the staff were very busy.Once the food arrived we were not disappointed. Well presented, incredibly tasty and worth the money paid. Very warm and friendly service and our little boy thoroughly enjoyed his pear and chocolate crepes.We would also recommend the Breton cider!

Do not miss this centrally located restaurant near the cathedral if you want a great Crepe. This our second visit after a 3 year gap did not disappoint in any way. The staff are very pleasant and helpful at all times. The choice of food is excellent and varied. The best is a crepe where you chose what fillings you want. I had ham, egg, cheese, potatoes and cream. It was delicious and filling - all I needed. The price was reasonable and competitive. Service was prompt with tables outside, ground and first floors.

Not a lot to say. I was not dazzled, not dissatisfied in any way. Good galettes, nice suggestions of sider, very friendly and helpful staff. Normal prices in spite of the reputation. N.B. it was very difficult to access the restroom because of overcrowding. Not a pleasant sensation, after having cider...

Did not know how highly recommended this place was. We were wanting crepes for lunch and found this place. Good welcome on arrival and shown to table upstairs. Helpful staff. They were very busy and we had to wait for our crepes, but Manager was concerned that we were OK waiting, which we were. Crepes were very good with generous fillings and well worth the wait. I was impressed to observe the waiter using special black gloves to buff up the cutlery which had come out of the dishwasher. Not something I've seen before. Very clean toilet.

My wife and I visited nearly every second day after we arrived in Quimper for two years. We were introduced to the hosts by our daughter-in-law. Each and every time the staff were very happy to see us. As Australians we were not used to crepes but soon realised what we were missing. To be served fresh hot especially produced crepes is something new for us. We are now back in Australia but look forward to returning in the coming year. The restaurant was particularly popular with students. Pricing was particularly good.
