For items, we got the meat platter, the veggie platter, the noodles, and lamb and beef platter. Everything was fresh and delicious. we also got the steamed egg (so good) and the teriyaki chicken to grill. Loved getting to create our own sauces (it was a fun adventure). Will def be back.
I used to come here pretty often when this place was AYCE hotpot sushi. i stopped coming here once they switched to kbbq and no more AYCE. as many of these reviews have stated, the food is on the pricier side, but if the food was actually good and quality matched, i wouldn't have anything bad to say. very small portions. the renovated place is nice, the food on the other hand, it was definitely better when it was AYCE. generally, AYCE food is not as great, however, this place had nothing special to offer at all. maybe just paying for the food presentation and decor. i could have been more satisfied, say at Spring shabu in allston/brighton. sushi was bland. kbbq was not a good representation of what it should be like at all. i would've been better off starting up the griddle at home and butter panning. it was the price of fine dining WITHOUT THE FINE DINING.
I finally get chance to check out this duo hotpot-Korean bbq place with some friends. We have 8 ppl total and they put us at a booth so it is pretty complicated, packed and challenging for everybody to enjoy the food. We ordered the luxury set and they brought everything out at same time so def have no spaces on the table for us to comfortably enjoy the food. I was not super happy about that. The quality of meat was great but seafood was not so much. All the sides dishes was pretty mediocre. The kimchi soup was basically water with couple slices of kimchi. The bibimbap had zero flavors. Only the fried bun with condensed milk was good. The seasonings of bbq meats was alright. Nothing special there to talk about. Their sauce station is pretty good but would be more appreciated if the restaurant has some house recipes showing new comers to make the sauce otherwise ppl will be super overwhelmed. We paid around 70 each and for the amount of food and services and such, not quite a 4-star review yet. I like the concept but prob not back for awhile. There is better hotpot places out there
This is our family spot!!!! And our family is full of picky eaters. We've tried it all, the Korean bbq, the hot pot and the sushi!!! Don't forget their homemade soju. Ohhh soooo good.
You have to try the hotpot here! Absolutely delicious we got two different broths and the house broth we thought was the best. You can also make your dipping own sauce at a bar, which is great for all different taste pallets. We got two different meats and the vegetable plate. They have other options as well, menu has variety. Also the food presentation is very artistic and aesthetically pleasing. Would recommend!
