Blue Vue Cafe - Quinns Rocks

Breakfast always good here. Small menu but enough to please most. I love the coffee. Nice decor and fabulous view.

Since the cafe has been given a face lift we call most weeks. The coffee is great no after taste, the fish n chips are delicious. We took friends from the Uk who still say how good it was. We did go last week and it was rather cold inside so keep your coat on.

We have been pleasantly surprised since the opening of Blue Vue, a tremendous improvement compared to the previous owner. We tend to go for breakfast, and the food is always excellent. We however have two comments to make. 1: The weather has now shifted to winter, but the windows and entry door stay wide open, which makes the interior freezing cold, with most people keeping their big jackets on. This Sunday and last Saturday, we both had to put a second jumper on, which did ruin the breakfast a bit. It would be great if the air con could be turned on to warm up the place so that people could at least remove their big jackets.2: the interior is a real improvement compare to the previous version, but it is still a noisy place a soon a 3 or more tables are occupied. It would be great to install some "soft panels" or curtains to absorb the noise a little bit.Otherwise, keep up the good work in the kitchen, and the smile on the waitresses :)

I had a toasted cheese and ham, the other had toasted cheese, chicken and avocado. The meals themselves were okay but heck did they look thin and boring on the plate. One strip of bean sprout each as garnish - SERIOUSLY! One of the coffees was slopped in the saucer enough so that the waitress could not have been unaware, so to me the presentation was woeful. At $10 for a basic toasted sandwich I would expect more. Location is lovely across the road from the sea, and the two staff I interacted with were pleasant and friendly. Huge potential here but the management have got to love their customers and make it show. I have a niggling sense they want to cash in on location and let the rest take care of itself.

What an amazing place...Fantastic..Had breakfast here with a friend.Great variety of different kinds of breakfasts, even Nasi Goreng however I could not resist the black pudding full breakfast.It was delicious piping hot with proper baked beans not them horrible home made ones.Coffee was very good.The staff were so lovely and caring and made us feel very special.I will definitely be going back soon.The beautiful ocean view adds to the wonderful experience.Highly recommended.
