This restaurant was a great find. The food was amongst the best I have eaten in Spain. Also, the welcome and service were as good as the food. I would certainly recommend this restaurant.

I’m so grateful to have found this restaurant one of the best experiences of our time in Spain. We had a lunch of octopus and potatoes, cod, and a light, unique dessert. My boyfriend loved a beer that they make on site (it’s these types of touches that leave an impression). The decor and feel of the restaurant is just terrific. And for the quality, I found the prices to be very reasonable. It is an a la carte menu, so you can go as big or small as you wish. Servings were generous. The restaurant was about 40 minutes from our hotel in Cantabria, and a spectacular though curvy drive. That is to be expected in the region you have to drive a bit for your meals. One helpful tip: the drive between the restaurant and Bilbao was an easy 1 hour on a much straighter road! So we checked out of the hotel, had a delicious lunch to remember, and were in Bilbao by 4. Our only regret is not being able to eat here again. Note: the times listed on this Trip Advisor page aren’t current as I am writing the review. The restaurant is, in fact, open for lunch and dinner during most of the week for summer. Suggest checking the website for latest info.

Es dificil encontrar una unanimidad como la que tiene este sitio. Con mi humilde comentario solo quiero decir que PERFECTO. Todos los detalles, todos los puntos de percepcion de calidad, confort y proximidad estan ahi. Sin duda un trabajo arriesgado, serio y con un gran resultado. Y de la comida que? pues todo en su justa medida de originalidad y tradicion, todo bien cocinado, excelentemente presentado desde el recibimiento. Como os dije me alegrasteis mi dia de vacaciones. Es un restaurante de referencia para la familia. Tuvimos ocasión de ir a cenar ayer martes 8 de agosto. Es una experiencia increible siempre que vamos. La comida exquisita, el lugar muy acogedor, iñaki y cris grandes profesionales. Sin duda, seguiremos visitándoos!!!
