Country Kitchen - Quitman

This diner has some tasty food! I highly recommend it for breakfast. It is regularly attended by locals.

Even though they were busy, service was fast and friendly. Food was hot and good. I will be back for more pancakes or cheesesteak for lunch. The parking lot looked full but there was a lot of room out back and there were tables available. Enough staff to get served quickly so don't let the front being full scare you away.

We have eaten here several times for breakfast, and everything has always been good. This time was different. We got the Wagon Wheel with hashbrowns, the two egg omelotte plate, and the Ranchers Breakfast with bacon and pancakes. The hashbrowns where burnt and had no flavor along with the gravy on the Wagon Wheel. The omelotte was ok, but it had some spice or to much pepper in it. Our visit just wasn't as good as our previous visits. Maybe a new cook or they were just not into that day.

No frills, sweet down home cooking restaurant. Great food, friendly staff.

Eat there often. Love the place. Food good and staff professional and fast.
