I recommend the shishlik at this restaurant. However, there is a need for separation between smoking and non-smoking areas. The service staff comes in too frequently without a need. The surrounding environment is nice.
The menu at this restaurant features standard post-Soviet cuisine including dishes like shurbo, ugro, and nakhudshurbo (a variation of shurbo with small peas). The barbecue and cutlets with a side dish are delicious, thanks to the talented chef. However, the service, atmosphere, and clientele leave something to be desired. The room was uncomfortably hot and stuffy despite the air conditioner appearing to be on. Prices are also on the higher side for the region, with an average meal including a salad, main course, and compote costing 65-85 somoni.
I want to thank Sasha for the outstanding service and the chefs for cooking up some delicious ribs!
Although the restaurant may not be very upscale, you can still enjoy traditional dishes including various meat options.
