Blue Bear Racine

Tried going here around 4:45 on a Sunday and they were closed. Very disappointed. Please PLEASE update your hours on Google if you don't adhere to them. We drove about 25 min out of our way just to arrive to a darkened restaurant.

What a find. The foot was delicious, coffee amazing. Service was good. Such a cute restaurant located in the middle of Racine, thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast.

Me my girlfriend went to Blue Bear on a sunday morning looking to try something new. Menu looked appetizing, despite it being pricy but that gave us high hopes. Food came out 5 minutes after we ordered, it was very undercooked. I got the breakfast burrito, it was $13 it was incredibly small didn't include a side. Looked more like a Taco Bell bean burrito that cost twice as much. Tasted bland. My girlfriend got the garbage pile, which is fitting because she barely took two bites. Hash browns weren't cooked, same with the meat wasn't hot which is probably why it only took 5 minutes. I will say, however, our drinks were very tasty, but will not be back for the food. Our server was very nice polite but the prices for the quality, presentation, and everything else was subpar. Left hungry disappointed.

I’ve been here 6+ times, it’s one of my favorite places for breakfast in the area. I went a few months ago and received a latte that was cold, but besides that never had an issue. This past weekend I went and they changed their menu, taking off the goat cheese omelette which was my favorite and the eggs Benedict that my boyfriend loves. We were a little disappointed but no big deal. They were out of the autumn harvest bowl I wanted to order. My omelette was just ok, he ordered the garbage plate which is kind of a misleading name for it because it’s a croissant sandwich. Pepper shaker was broken. They ran out of glasses so instead of notifying us and giving us a smaller glass, said we can wait until they clean more. The servers were yelling at each other in the restaurant making it kind of distracting to eat. They told my friend they were out of their homemade jam and it was 11 am. Then they gave her frozen jam. I am disappointed and won’t be back anytime soon
