The waiter promptly replaced the lines and brought us new drinks, which were darker in color but still flat. I tried the French onion soup, which was good, but I wouldn't recommend the baked version as it came with an excessively thick layer of cheese on top. I opted for the unbaked version, which was quite tasty, but others in our group who had the baked soup found it to be overly cheesy. Three of us ordered the prime rib. In my opinion, it was just mediocre. For a restaurant that’s supposed to be known for its prime rib, I expected something better. The cocktails were also unremarkable. Overall, I found this place to be quite average. Given the prices, I would have expected higher quality food and drinks.
My girlfriend and I visited this restaurant two weeks ago. Despite the $90 bill, we had plenty of leftovers for another meal each. The hospitality was outstanding, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was wonderful. You absolutely must try the French Onion Soup at the start of your meal or even just for a quick lunch. It's fantastic!
For our main courses, we ordered two prime ribs, a New York strip, and the King filet. Every steak was cooked to perfection and incredibly flavorful. We all ended up taking leftovers home. The service and atmosphere were excellent. However, I should mention that they impose a service fee for credit card payments. Our bill was nearly $300, so naturally, we used a credit card. While I understand the need for convenience fees at places that serve low-cost items, we felt that a $9 surcharge felt a bit excessive and put a slight damper on the evening. Despite this, we will definitely come back, although we’ll try to remember to bring cash next time, as this occasion was a special treat for us. Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures because we were so caught up in enjoying time with family—and that’s what it’s really all about: the experience.
Everything was perfect. Recently moved back to the area and the prime rib is as good as it was 16 years ago. Melton your mouth. Tara was an exceptional waitress, very attentive and friendly. Will be back soon. No better prime rib anywhere.
Horrible experience for a birthday dinner. Ordered the strip steak medium well. First time it came out it was medium rare and swimming in a pool juices I don’t remember ordering the surf and turf. They took it back and brought it back medium. I asked the waitress if they can just cancel it and and get the salmon. After, one of the managers came up saying that we could not exchange the fillet mignon for another item in the menu. I was confused and told her that the item I was trying to exchange was a strip steak and just to cancel the order instead. Clearly, there is a lack of communication. Also, they tried to serve our party crusty, dried, and tasteless mashed potatoes. Would not bring my worst enemy here. If you’re looking for a quality steak house try Fleming’s instead.Other items to point out: They spilled the steak juice in the table space of another party member. The waitress continued to blame the cooks for her mistakes Never brought to our table extra water, and bread we asked kept forgetting items, blamed the cooks, went back for the wring items. On top of that they calculate the 16% gratuity after taxes and the 3.5%. Gratuity is based of items orders not all taxes a and fees.
