Kayla Baylas - Racine

We went to Javier's based on a friend's recommendation for a local, non-chain Mexican restaurant, and it did not disappoint. We were seated right away. Our waitress was new and it was her first day, but she was amazing, quickly finding answers to any questions we had. The owner's wife stopped by several times to check on us, which we appreciated. The Harvest Butternut Squash Soup was incredible, and we absolutely loved the green salsa with our chips. Speaking of chips, they were delightfully light and crispy! Our entrees were delicious, the prices were very reasonable, and we can't wait to return to explore more of the extensive menu.

The service was fantastic! We were seated quickly and greeted right away by Aleah, who brought us chips and salsa. Just a moment later, Johanna approached us with a smile to take our drink order. She recommended the dish I ended up ordering, and it was excellent! The Pollo Ala Parrilla was incredible! My son also enjoyed the steak tacos. We can't wait to return with the whole family!

We visited this restaurant for the first time and we absolutely loved it! The food was outstanding and the portion sizes were quite generous. Our server, Johanna, was incredibly helpful with her suggestions and provided us with excellent service. We will definitely be returning!

The service was great, Our server Johanna was super and very helpful to be customers for the first time. We usually go to Milwaukee for Mexican food and now we will stay in our city because it was the best Mexican food we both had. Anyway, we'll be back soon.

The dinners are great. Service by family is exceptional. Chips are good. Salsa is just okay. If the salsa was better I would give them 5 out of 5.
