Sonic Drive-in - Radford

This Sonic location is quite good. I've been there several times, and they get my order right 90% of the time. That's the only reason I can't give them a full 5-star rating. If I could, I'd rate them 4.5 stars because they usually do a great job. They're in the process of training new staff, so today, there was an issue with one part of my order. I ordered a Route 44 strawberry slush without ice, and unfortunately, it still came with ice. However, I didn’t want to waste a perfectly good drink just to avoid the ice, so I didn’t say anything. I figured a new employee must have made the mistake, which is understandable. Everything else we ordered was perfect and delicious! The staff is friendly and welcoming, and our food arrived quite quickly after placing the order.

Like most fast food places, the experience can really vary depending on the time of day and how the staff is doing at that moment. Fortunately, it was a great time to visit this spot today, particularly since it was during their happy hour.

The service was prompt and the staff were friendly. The food was fresh and served hot. However, the exterior of the restaurant was quite dirty and in need of a thorough cleaning and some renovations.
