We sat on the terrace which is next to soccer training field, but luckily nothing was going on there. This is a small restaurant with perhaps slightly higher ambitions than can be realized. The food was tasty and well-prepared in home-cooking style, but certainly not extra-ordinary. The ingredients have good quality. Service on this Friday evening was by a single waitress which led to some minor delays, but we were not in a hurry. There is a brief, mostly local wine list, with no particular highlights. Altogether, nice enough, nothing to complain, perhaps the price level is a little too ambitous.
We were at the weekend with our children in the restaurant. on the basis of the assessments, we have assumed that we can look forward to well prepared fish dishes. amuse bouche - sweet little chopped tomate with serrano and a velvet leaf salat: no taste and even for the eye a cheeky appetizer - baked garlic creams: completely overpaced, since just raw garlic was boiled in a cream soup. at least the cucumber was nicely baked.Main dish - zanderfilt with spargel, hollandaise, salt potatoes: the salt potatoes were the highlight. the zander had reached too much temperature although that there were no persuasive röstaromen. the spatula completely soft and the hollandaise was not freshly prepared. Conclusion: not recommended. wasted of time, money and calories. For the fairness, one must say that the bark fillet was in order from our son.
Had dinner at this restaurant with 3 friends the other evening. I wish I had checked on trip advisor instead of going with the recommendation of the hotel as I was somewhat disappointed with dinner. There was nothing particularly bad about the meal but it was just so ordinary. The service was terribly slow and temperature of the food was warm, not really hot and the fish was overcooked. All in all, it was a mediocre meal and I wouldn't recommend it to friends. I will eat somewhere else next time I am in Radolfzell am Bodensee.
This local has been recommended to us by well-known.We chose the 3-course fish midday for 22.50 euro. The fish was cooked at the point, the well in the size and inviting for’s eye and the galms.
Neighborhood family-owned, popular with the locals. No complaints, good location, as it's within walking distance of several B & B hotels that don't have restaurants. Will return!
