Braise Contemporary Southern - Raleigh

The atmosphere was fantastic, and the customer service was excellent. I also participated in the blood drive on January 12, 2022.

The food was enjoyable, and the atmosphere is quite relaxing, even though it’s located in the heart of a lobby and conversation area. I can’t comment on their breakfast buffet, but it seemed appealing. My Beyond Burger was decent, but it could have used a bit more seasoning, and the caramelized onions were actually grilled and not very well prepared. However, that's just a minor issue in the grand scheme of things.

This is an outstanding hotel restaurant and bar that stays open late. The staff is incredibly helpful and attentive. The only downside for me was the coffee, which didn't meet my expectations—I even crossed the street early in the morning to grab a Starbucks. Aside from that, I was very satisfied and pleased with my dining experience at this restaurant.

I chose to eat here since I was staying at the hotel. The drink menu offered only a limited selection of signature cocktails. I ordered the shrimp and grits, and it was, without a doubt, the worst I've ever had. I could only bring myself to eat the six shrimp because the grits were still clumped together and the Cajun cream sauce was not very good. The cocktail was also disappointing for the price.

We enjoyed drinks and an appetizer at the bar on a late Sunday, and the service was outstanding.
