I recently got a vegan cake from Levant and it was the best cake I ever tasted in my life, and I tried all kinds of cake!! My sister for my birthday picked it up for me and she ordered the vanilla lemon cake and asked him to convert to a strawberry shortcake because this is my favorite. It had crushed strawberry icing through the cake and strawberries in the middle filled with the lemon vanilla cake. It was super rich and amazing felt like a wedding cake!!! Totally recommended, even if the high price of $50
Very clear on the menu, which is vegan, vegetarian, egg-free, milk-free and nut-free. Everything is marked. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable on veganism. Wide range of vegan desserts such as cookies and cakes.
Some great vegan options here. A little expensive, but it's worth it. We enjoyed the three dip sampler with vegan pita, although there is a smaller amount of each dip than expected for the price. I had the Butternut Squash Spinat farinata, which was incredibly delicious and a delightful alternative to the usual Mediterranean vegan fare. Always check the menu on your website. You have a vegan chocolate cake (but if you want to completely avoid bone cauliflower sugar, I don't shy this cake because the powder sugar on it questioned me the sugar used) We went in a night when they were full of a big table. We never got water replenishment and had to wait quite amusing for the service (from order to ticket). But the food was so good that I want to give the service another chance of a less busy night. We were in Raleigh for a weekend and came here for breakfast our first day in town. My wife, who suffers from celiacs disease, was so excited about this place and it delivered on so many levels. The wait staff was so friendly and accomodating. The breakfast menu was so good! We aren't able to find any gluten free places around where we live, and being here was heaven. So good we came back the next morning to try it again. Madison was such a good hostess and we spoke to the owner Anita who empathizes with our situation and was happy to be able to provide a place for us to eat without worries of getting sick. They even sold us some of their delicious pita bread to take home with us. If you are looking for a completely gluten free environment and great food and atmosphere please come here many times!
