Mitch's Tavern - Raleigh

Mitch's Tavern is open on Tuesdays and Fridays from 11 AM to 4 PM, and on Saturdays and Sundays from 11 AM to 11 PM!

The London broil was a classic choice for lunch during my college years. Either way, this place is definitely worth a visit.

On our way home from Augusta, Georgia, we made a quick stop in Raleigh to visit our youngest daughter. She recommended lunch at Mitch's Tavern.

Mitch's is awesome. They do not have a deep fryer, but that is OK. I recommend the London Broil, Redolfo's Feast, and the gaspatcho. Also there are beer specials and great people.

This is still my go-to spot for drinks in Raleigh and one of my top picks for delicious tavern fare. It boasts a rich history, charming atmosphere, and tends to draw a nice crowd that's not overwhelmingly packed or excessively noisy.
