This was our first visit to the restaurant. It wasn't crowded. The food was excellent, although I wouldn't order the calamari again. It was just okay, probably frozen, but the dipping sauce was delicious. We also tried the fried spring rolls, which were very good. Our main dishes were also delicious. I had a sweet and sour chicken dish, while my companion had a chicken cashew dish. Writing this review has made me hungry for this food again.
The main highlight of this restaurant is the food, particularly the ramen. Regardless of which flavor you choose, the portions are just right and the taste is comparable to Tombo and Dashi. I highly recommend this spot as a hidden treasure. The service may not be top-notch, but the advantage is that it's not very well-known, so the ambiance is always peaceful. However, the restaurant is in dire need of a renovation since it appears outdated and poorly maintained.
Sad to see the demise here as this was once a fav. Last visit food was ok..but facility seemed run down...in need of cleaning, painting, etc. Server seemed preoccupied as it appeared they were short staffed.
We have dined here many times but the whole experience was not up to their previous standard. Nearly empty when we went (Sunday evening), no sushi bar, although a very accommodating waitress who provided additional spice to satisfy two people in our party. Hopefully it will pick up again in the near future.
