Tulum Restaurante Bar - Raleigh

Eating was just okay. it was pretty cheap so that a plus.

When we came in, welcomed us 3 hostesses and seemed confused where we should sit, even though we had a reservation. the restaurant was super hot. the person who brought us our chips and salsa had to eat about his dresses, just really dirty, so we decided to go. the prices were far too high for a simple Mexican restaurant. our waiter came by and asked why we were gone. he was very sincere. we just said nothing was wrong, just didn't want to spend our jubilee there.

Good food. The bar was understaffed and drinks were slow.

Server was very pleasant but possibly in charge of too many tables. We waited at every transition to the point of awkward silence. (Waiting on drinks, ordering meals, waiting on checks etc) The second round of margaritas were the incorrect drinks and weren’t corrected. Server said “well this one has more liquor”. Food portions were generous but overall bland but we all ordered the same dish so we had nothing else to compare. The first round of margaritas were delicious though and overall it wasn’t a terrible experience.

They were closed! Had a large party reservation and lucky I called ahead of time because they were closed!
