Went here after a long time. The food is good. We tried the Kotte idling (idling made jackfruit leaves rolled like a basket. They were super tasty, served with equally good chutney and sambar. We also had puri aamras. It's simple puri served with aamras. It's the first time I'm having it. But it was a interesting combination and was tasty. Same was dosa, good. Mangalore buns was not good, too much banana made it way too soft. Coffee was good. There was a foul smell (from the cowshed at the entrance and the handwash area, that was a turndown. That's why the 3 rating, else it would have been 4.
Once a popular breakfast point for motorists on the Bangalore Mysore highway, today this place has lost its charm. Probably due to the new expressway bypassing this area completely. While the food was decent, there was nothing to wow us. The Poori with mango shikarni was good. Still a decent stopover point if you are on this quiet road.
One of best options to have an early breakfast on way towards Mysore/Coorg from Bangalore. The taste was authentic, atmosphere around was very good. Any person, with anyone can visit here. It's couple friendly, family friendly, senior citizen or college students, kids can also enjoy having a meal here. Moreover, though serving good food with good services, the restaurant is pocket friendly, which is an added advantage.
Once a houseful bustling place had very few people in it when we walked in by Sunday morning. Looks like with the new Expressway, most travellers not preferring to enter into Ramanagara. Ordered below, Kotte Idly: Too small for the price Masala Dosa: Was crispy but seriously lacked all characteristics of a typical masala dosa Akki Roti: Tasted good but not value for the pricing Staff were courteous polite but left the place with an incomplete feeling of missing good Sunday breakfast. Prefer to skip this place now.
