On our way back home from Cuyamaca, we were really glad we decided to stop here. When we first arrived, we weren't sure what to expect, but the food turned out to be excellent and authentic. They offer a wide variety of combination plates that come with rice and beans. The chips and salsa were fresh and delicious, and we were even given a second round with a larger bowl of salsa. I ordered the #18, which was a carne asada quesadilla and a fish taco, while my companion had the #49, a carne asada burrito and a fish taco. This place is definitely worth a visit when you're in Ramona!
This place is definitely a trip with the elementary school furniture and all. The best part was the glowing fire at a cold winter night. Not the best Mexican food, but still solid.
Always delicious. The best staff. You treat better than family.
The restaurant itself is stunning! It features a giant fireplace at the center of a spacious, earthy room that feels almost like a grand cave. Inside, you feel transported to another world. The family-style service is excellent, the food is delicious, and the prices are quite reasonable. Don’t miss out on this gem!
