Giovanna's Gourmet Take Out - Ramsey

Jesse M was an AMAZING server! He was super kind, attentive, and funny. Very accommodating as well. Food was delicious. My one complaint pertains to the owner/manager an older woman with straight brown hair. She was very condescending and critical to her staff (who had been working hard during a lunch rush) within our earshot and it put a bad taste in our mouths.

Tons of gluten free options available! The waffles were delicious, and I would recommend you try their hash browns; they are delicious!

We stopped in to Giovanna's Cafe on our trip to New England for breakfast after searching Google for a nice place to stop. Giovanna's was about a mile off the road where we were traveling, but it was worth the stop. There is limited street parking in front of the restaurant, but we didn't have a problem finding a spot. There are a lot of normal breakfast items on the menu, (eggs, omelets, fruits, pancakes, and sandwiches) and they have some unique items as well (fritattas and yogurt cocktails). They make their own berry butter which was very good and we were told some people come in just for that butter. I had the Live It Up Omelet and it was very good. Others in our party also had great meals. There appears to be a take out area at the back of the restaurant and there was cakes available for purchase at the front. I recommend stopping into Giovanna's Cafe if you are in the area and want a great breakfast that is different than a typical diner-type experience.

Great cafe! Egg white omelet was wonderful lots of veggies. The Special Omelet had sausage and peppers, yum! Home fries are truly homemade and well seasoned. Top it off with a pumpkin latte best I've ever had! Crispy bacon cooked just right. Thanks, Jesse, for impeccable service. And thanks to Stephen, the host, he was so welcoming.

This was the first place in New Jersey that I’ve decided to dine at and the experience was quite remarkable. I challenge anyone to find a more comfortable spot to have breakfast. The host and waitstaff were attentive and made me feel very comfortable and I can’t wait to eat there again in the near future!
