Mariscos Popotla Jr. - Rancho Anahi

Everyone that visits Rosarito has their favorite fish taco establishment. Moriscos Popotla Jr. is my favorite, hands down. I especially like that you can get seafood tacos without breading (sin empanizar). it's only a few pesos more and they still pile on the fish. You can even get your taco with a lettuce wrap if you prefer.This is one of the last restaurants in town to have chips (totopos) and salsa picante included with the sit down meal. The salsa is excellent!There is free WiFi in the restaurant. A play area for children. It is extremely clean, even the bathrooms. Some of the wait staff speaks English and they are very friendly and professional.My favorites are the fish tacos (sin empanizar), the ceviche de pescado, and the creamy clam chowder. I'm from Seattle and know my clam chowder. They use fresh clams in this one and it tastes great. You might see me there as I go every week!
