It is located in the Froms Shopping Center north of the 210 in Haven, at the end of the strip there next to Trader Joes. After the shopping center began to groom die a few years ago I am happy to see new life and a great dining option there. I think it was officially known as Tole-house café, the owner / his wife renamed it after his grandmother and rebuilt it. They also own the Guasti Homestyle Cafe was in Ontario, now in Chino. Corkys has now become a kind of hot spot, they have great food and a large menu, and their breakfast menu is offered 24 hours a day. The portions are very generous, large plates that envelop with food. I must love that. Very affordable. A huge breakfast table or Alllet runs at $8. A large bowl of chili in a sourdough bread bowl with cheese and onions is like $8. The prizistic thing on their menu is the steak dinner at about $14. You also have a special feature of the day that changes daily on a map at your table and daily senor specials for about $6. When you order coffee, you will get a random cup from their collection of cups, some with vintage logos and others with logos from local companies. Interesting, but I can add a good coffee with unlimited refills. But their gates, all goodness, their gates are good! Only problem is that their cakes are so popular their selection vary from day to day and at different times of day/night. My favorites are pecan and berry. Your cakes are baked in the house and they also have muffins, cookies and ice cream. Can't you think about what kind of cake? Ask for 2 types 50/50 and get 2 half disks and charged for only 1 disk. The servers are friendly and smiling, no matter what time of day or night it is and fast to refill your soda or coffee. There is such a warm welcoming atmosphere to the place that it is easy to sit in their comfortable stalls with some cake and coffee and do not feel rushed to come from there, or make a new friend chat with whoever sits next table. Very family-friendly, often youth sports teams come to dinner/dessert after a game and in the Wee hours of the morning his cool meeting place for young adults, but not as creepy a lot like some other 24 hour breakfast spots-the-hall-remain-nameless.
Rancho Cucamonga – I love Corky's food, but I recently ordered, take it off at 2:30 and I specifically asked her cash when everything was there and she said yes. I went home and voila, my sick wife chicken noodle soup wasn't there. My wife insisted that I don't pick it up, so we just made it a reliable house smoking soup! Bummer to start the new year Corky’s! I called Corkys and offered a suffering and a cookie for compensation.... Really? If they are really sorry, they may have to pay the price and refund me for the whole meal! I was light, but the sad thing is, I'm still going to go there because I enjoy her food. My lesson has learned when you get food, check it yourself.
