Acqua California Bistro - Rancho Mirage

Stopped in for cocktails after a meeting. Such a terrific location at The River. Pleased staff was wearing masks. Not impressed with cocktails...one order gin instead of vodka....other seemed waterdown. My fault didn't speak up, but was short on time. On the other hand I shouldn't have to.

Had a wonderful brunch outside today. The food was plentiful and taste amazing. We did the weekend brunch for $25, it was a appetizer, entree and dessert. The view was relaxing and service great. Look at the size of that chicken pot pie!

I’m not sure what happened to this place. It used to be so amazing and now it’s terrible. This eggs Benedict I ordered for my wife is so tasteless and the potatoes are mushy and tiny. We’ve also tried their pork chop at another point which we used to love for years but was a major disappointment just a few weeks ago. They need to go back to how they were doing things. This new Aqua I will recommend to nobody. Oh, also the prices for some of the stuff here is absurd. I rather pay that same price for a higher quality serve somewhere else.

This place did not disappoint. Decided to get the weekend brunch deal and it was definitely worth it. I had the Cesar salad, strawberry waffle, and finished it off with tiramisu. The strawberry sauce on the waffle was a little too sweet but still delicious. The tiramisu was perfect I only wish I had more room to eat more. I highly recommend this place. It was clean, the decor was nice and the food was delicious.

The food was ok, not great. The good service made up for it. The spicy pineapple margarita was good.
