Shang Hai Inn - Rancho Mirage

I sometimes dine them when I have a taste for Chinese. Beautiful atmosphere and friendly staff. Suitable for the desert. As a vegetarian, I found the menu that limits my choices. The Sesam Tofu was beautiful and tasteful!

Good experience, but nothing special. Server was extremely polite and had my order ready in no time. Mongolian beef very delicate but relatively tasteless (I am used for the more tasteful version at PF Changs); Snow Pea Pods in garlic sauce....fresh and crispy, but also very blanching. I'm sure the food here is perfect for people who like less spices and sodium... but I like my Chinese food... good, Chinese! Maybe. I should try more dishes before I checked....but usually these two dishes are good predictions how the rest will go.

We are new in the area and really enjoy this place. I was there twice. We ordered different dishes each time and all were great.

We were so happy to find a good Chinese restaurant nearby! Food is good quality and service came with a smile, I'm pretty sure she smiled under her mask, anyway she was very nice and took great care about us! The atmosphere exceeded expectations for a restaurant in the Strip-Mall. Nice decor.
