I understood that this place was not far from the previous one. There weren't many stands, but I saw that most people pull out the order, making sense. It was cool when we sat, but finally the heat was switched on. Service was very pleasant, if not a little slow, but understandable, as it came rush hour and many people. The big takeaway was that the portions are huge! There is definitely enough for a left food. I had pasta with cooked and fried shrimps. The sauce was good, but something too creamy for me. There were many cooked shrimps, but only three fried. I had to leave the extra pasta with my hostess for a left dish. The grain bread was absolutely delicious! I think they are known for their desserts and unfortunately I was a bit disappointed. I had their signature apple cake, but it tasted more store bought than fresh. I would recommend the restaurant if you don't feel like cooking and want to take something home for later or the next day. There are no hairs, just hearty food.
I called a week and a half before Thanksgiving to order cakes, they told me to call on Friday before Thanksgiving to order cakes I called on Friday and they said they had no more order! The manager has no responsibility for who answered the phone and has not tried to accommodate us for their mistake customer service, has really gone mgr was Evern
My sons and I love having a family breakfast here. Great pancake, customer service is A1 and it is close to home.
I love Marie's and wished that they didn't close most shops my wife worked for her many years ago today we ate there and bought Pues to go no problem with the cakes, but the food wasn't so good fresco burger was all bread and a very small meat Patti and so much dressing on it just fell apart just terrible and my maize bread taste differently not sweet and the most flaky hard cold. Just a shame to see what such a beautiful place has happened
This business has now moved from a building that had the typical expected Marie Calendar Signature Building to a Smaller But Cozy Strip Small Building. The business has maintained the same over all Marie Calendar experience of good food and a pleasant atmosphere to share conversation with friends and family. . I was with my sister friend who helped me navigate the new no host, menu on the wall, put your order in at the counter, then pay, be seated, and your food is brought out to you experience; which remanded me of the old Clifton 's Restaurant with the difference of you didn 't pick up your food as you went down the line. I did enjoyed my dining experience. . What I would suggest going forward, if this is there practice, put a sign up indicating welcome, proceed to the counter to place your order . There were only 2 employee 's working when I visited; the cook and a person who was the order taker, cashier, server, clean the tables up a all purpose employee. It is apparent the locals know what to do but others like myself not so much. Two persons came in, sat down, waited a decent amount of time, I 'd say 10 15 mins, apparently not demanding, and it wasn 't until they quietly got up and left that I realized they hadn 't been served. They got into a service truck that was parked right outside the door of Marie 's, these were people on a lunch break. They didn 't know the recipe for service, there was no directive by the business, they didn 't have a friend like I did to direct them, and possible the all purpose employee did not see them??? This is not a critic but a suggestion: This might have been a $50.00 order that was lost?
